Dana Gallagher

Dana Gallagher has been praised for her ability to make the alluring accessible.  The world she depicts is often aspirational, but always within reach.

Dana's initial success came as a food photographer.  Her work on Martha Stewart's landmark cookbook Menus for Entertaining displayed her abundant natural ability and obvious visual flair.  A serial renovator who's always on the lookout for a project, Dana's love of home design soon found expression in her work, as she moved into shooting interiors and  lifestyle.  Her clients include Bose, Kneipp, Martha.com, Bloomist, Target, Kraft, Stouffers, Nestle, Duncan Hines, Coach, Kate Spade, W Hotels and Miraval Resorts. While her images have been featured in Food & Wine, Martha Stewart Living, Elle Decoration, Marie Claire Maison and The New York Times, among others.

Dana, a natural content creator, is a co-founder of Kitchenrepertoire.com with her friend and long time colleague Frances Boswell.  She oversees stories from beginning to end, finding the best people and places that reflect a certain theme, then delivering the images in the most compelling way possible.  A passion project, the venture marks a return to Dana's first loves, food, cooking and elegant visual story telling.

Dana lives in Brooklyn with her daughter Imogen and boisterous dog Biscuit.
